Alizée

Alizée is a pop singer born on the 21st of August 1984 in Ajaccio, in France. Her full name is Alizée Jacotey but she just goes by the stage name Alizée . She has often been referred to as the French version of Britney Spears..... hopefully that is a compliment. She was discovered by another French pop singer Mylène Farmer looking for a fresh new voice. Alizée entered the music scene with her biggest single Moi... Lolita an edgy pop song which is loosely translated to mean an attractive and seductive girl. Since then she has released two more albums but none of them was as big as her first album,Gourmandises which went platinum three months after it was released.In 2003 she got married to Jérémy Chatelain, a fashion designer, singer and actor, they have a child called Anny-Lee. After her marriage, she took a bit of a break and later returned to release her third album, Psychédélices which did reasonably well but not as good as Gourmandises.
